Tell Me About It

The all-aluminum uni-body design of the HTC One flows seamlessly in to the large 4.7" 1080p high-definition display covered by extra durable Corning Gorilla Glass.  Flanking the vibrant display are dual-stereo speakers that direct the sound forward to make sharing music and videos easier and clearer.  To go along with the HTC One’s premium look, the Android 4.1.1 operating system layered with the Sense user interface dances with a touch of your fingertip.  The addition of BlinkFeed to HTC Sense brings all of your favorite news and current event topics together with your social networks to create one place to go to read, post, and comment.

Who It's Good For

The HTC One is great for anyone that appreciates a great looking phone with a fantastic operating system.  The rookie photographer all the way to the professionals will appreciate the crisp clear pictures that the UltraPixel camera takes in medium to low light and all of the great filters and editing options available on the HTC One.  See sample pictures from the HTC One.

Why This is Wirefly BUZZworthy

The first thought that will come to your mind when you picked up the Glacial Silver or Stealth Black HTC One for the first time is that the all-aluminum design is sleek and stylish and the metal case has a quality feel about it.  Once you are done drooling over the look of the phone and take a minute to power it on, you will instantly be impressed with the 1080p high-definition display showing the Android operating system layered with the visually engaging BlinkFeed.  BlinkFeed collects news and current events about topics you are interested in and combines them with your social media networks like Facebook and Twitter to create a one stop shop to look at all of the information that is important to you.

The hardware inside the HTC One is equally impressive as the outside of the phone.  The powerful 1.7GHz quad-core processor teams up with 2GB of RAM to power the software with near flawless effort.  The built in task manager to the Android operating system ensures that there is always enough power available from the processor to handle the task at hand.  If you are a fan of storing movies and pictures on your phone then the HTC One is a great phone for you.  The 32GB of on-board storage will let you store up to 3600 pictures and 160 minutes of 1080p HD video.  The lack of expandable storage with a microSD card is the only drawback to the HTC One, but that is easily overcome by managing the content I have on the phone and using a cloud service like Dropbox to access movies and music not stored on the phone.

Takeaway

When you take into consideration the design, hardware, software, and build quality of the HTC one, the HTC One is the best smartphone out right now in the world hands-down.
