Walmart Drops Prices of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C

As the release of the hotly-anticipated iPhone 6 draws near, retailers all over the United States are drastically reducing the prices of their iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C units. As reported by CNET, a Walmart spokesperson has confirmed that the retail giant is lowering the prices of their iPhone 5S to $79.00 and the iPhone 5C to just $0.97. Before the drop in prices, the iPhone 5S used to sell for $99.00 while the iPhone 5C can be bought for $29.00. The newly announced plan, which is called the Sprint $60 Unlimited Plan, promises customers unlimited calls, texting, and data for only a monthly charge of $60.00. This latest offering by the carrier may be a game-changer, considering how affordable it is. For instance, take a look at T-Mobile's $80.00 per month unlimited plan and compare it with Sprint's newest $60 offering -- that's a full $20.00 differential in the monthly rates.
