App Name: ZombieBooth
Operating System: iOS, Android
App Cost: $0.00 (as of 10/16/13)

Why This is Wirefly BUZZworthy

Want to scare away your stalker ex with a creepy image of yourself? Laugh at a grotesque version of you? Get really close to the psyche of a Zombie? If the answer to any of the above is yes, then you need to check out Zombie Booth!

First off, it's free! You can "Zombify" pictures of family and friends on your camera phone or even Facebook. I wanted to see what heights of Zombification I could reach, and so decided to spook myself out to smithereens! I first hit the camera button and took a clean cut shot of my face. You get a set of circular icons at the bottom that you can click on. My favorite is the one with the skull. This is where the actual fun begins. You can go nuts as you add an evil eye, ugly scar, bloodied mouth, a scrawny face and head gears from a plethora of options. These appear like they would in a slot machine in Vegas! If you want to surprise yourself, just hit the shuffle button and wait to see what 3D animated shot of you randomly shows up. Or you could customize your look by choosing what you want. I liked the fact that there were many cool head gears to select (From a carved pumpkin, a mummy mask, devils horn to even a Santa hat!). You can also choose your skin tone from gauntly white to ghostly green. Once you are finished, just simmer down wait for that horrifying roar! Hit the camera button again to save your creation at any point in your animation over to your library or share it with that someone special (or not!). I really liked the interactive aspect of this app as well. Press your finger against your saved animation to howl as many times as you want. Or hit the red video button to record, and then save/share your video.

The downside though is that nothing is really free. After a few creations, you need to get "viruses" to make more photos/videos. And to do so you have to complete certain actions (Sign up for a free trial, run a quote for auto insurance and others). The really cool features / add-ons need you to purchase coins that might require a credit card. I wanted to add a hideous mouth and a supremely wicked eye, but I did not want to shell out money for it.

Final Verdict
