Walmart Drops Prices of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C

As the release of the hotly-anticipated iPhone 6 draws near, retailers all over the United States are drastically reducing the prices of their iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C units. As reported by CNET, a Walmart spokesperson has confirmed that the retail giant is lowering the prices of their iPhone 5S to $79.00 and the iPhone 5C to just $0.97. Before the drop in prices, the iPhone 5S used to sell for $99.00 while the iPhone 5C can be bought for $29.00. The Walmart representative further stated that the price drop takes effect beginning 9 AM on Thursday, August 21.
